Policies
We maintain a family-oriented house and ask that you respect that.
No parties or large gatherings of guests other than the guests on the lease.
We rent to responsible adults over 25.
Linen package is available for $175/ week. They are included free of charge during the peak season. The linen package contains sheets for each bed, 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, 2 hand towels per king or queen bed, and 2 bath towels towels, 2 washcloths and 1 hand towel for each double or twin. Additionally, there are two dish towels and 1 dish cloth. No beach towels are included.
Pet Policy- 2 Small breed dogs under 20 lbs. are allowed with a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet. Certified Service Dog is allowed.
No smoking or vaping inside the house.
Weekly Reservations begin at 3:00 PM Saturday and end at 10:00 AM the following Saturday.
Check-in is on Saturday, and it begins at 3:00 PM. Please plan your arrival according to the hours of check-in, as the cleaners will be cleaning the house after the previous guest leaves at 10:00 AM. Please do not park under or enter the house before 3:00 pm. As stated on your contract, check in time is at 3:00 PM. It is for your benefit that you wait. This allows the cleaning crews adequate time to clean the house so you can have an even more enjoyable vacation. If you park under the house prior to 3 PM they will not enter to clean, and you are accepting the house “As Is”.
Check out by 10:00 AM. Take out the trash and place the can at the curb, wash and put away all dishes and place all linens back in the bag/ bin that they were delivered in prior to check out. The cleaners are busy during turnover hours, and this is how you can help them to ensure the unit is ready for the next guest. A $50.00 per hour late charge will be charged for late departures.
Vehicle Passes Your information will be input into the Ocean Lakes system to obtain passes. You must respond to the email request by Ocean Lakes for vehicle information and payment to purchase passes. It is highly recommended that you take advantage of the express check in system used by Ocean Lakes. It will facilitate a much quicker entry to the campground on day of check in.
Damages- Report all damages to Wind Call Vacation Rental immediately. Wind Call Vacation Rental and its owners are not responsible for the damage, loss or theft of personal property, including but not limited to automobiles, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, personal items and cash.
Deposit $500 refundable deposit and one half of the rental fee is due at the time of reservation. This may be paid by check or with credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover). Balance of rental fee, including sales tax, fees, and accommodation tax on total rent, will be due 30 days prior to check-in day. Balance payments may be made by check or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover). Deposit will be refunded within 14-21 business days after departure unless rolled over to reserve the house for the same week the following year.
Cleaning Policy- Home is cleaned after every stay. Prior to check out, guests are responsible for placing all trash in the green trash bins outside and rolling the bin to the curb, cleaning all used dishes and returning all the provided linens (if any) back into the bags/bins and leaving them in the living room.
Travel Insurance- It is recommended to purchase a travel insurance policy to protect yourself in case you need to cancel. One company that sells this is Travel Insured. https://www.travelinsured.com A CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) policy is the most flexible.
Ocean Lakes Campground Policies are in effect for the entire campground. Violations of the ocean Lakes policies are the responsibility of the guest. By staying within Ocean Lakes, all guests agree to adhere to their policies. See their policies at - https://www.oceanlakes.com/about-us/policies/
Cancellation Policy Cancelations made 61+ days prior to rental are fully refundable. Cancelations within 60 days of arrival are subject to the following policy- If the reservation is cancelled and we are able to re-rent the house you have cancelled, we will apply the amount we collect toward the amount you contracted with us for. If we receive the entire amount of your contract, we will refund your money. If not, we will apply the money received toward your contracted amount and refund any money due you over our original contract. We will make every effort to re-rent the house. If you refuse rental property or do not show up without canceling reservation, Sandy Beach Rental will retain the total amount paid. No money will be refunded.
Maintenance: All items in the house should be in working order prior to guests arrival. If there is a deficiency, please call or text to 910-922-9263 and we will help fix the problem as soon as possible.
Wind Call Rental reserves the right to discontinue occupancy if, in our opinion, actions by renters are detrimental to the premises, the property or Ocean Lakes.
No parties in the residence.
The primary guest must be over 25 years old.
No Smoking inside the residence. A $250 fee may be in effect if the cleaner has to remove smoke smell from the house.

Guest is responsible for obtaining vehicle passes directly from Ocean Lakes at $12 per day per vehicle. If you submit to Ocean Lakes at least 10 days prior to your arrival, you will receive a $2 per day discount (reducing the parking pass fee to $10 per day). Ocean Lakes will then mail you the parking passes ahead of your arrival. If you do not submit your information in advance, you will need to go to the Main Office upon arrival to purchase your passes. Your information will be input into the Ocean Lakes system to obtain passes. You must respond to the email request by Ocean Lakes for vehicle information and payment to purchase passes.
